Asociación de Damas Puertorriqueñas

Asociación de Damas Puertorriqueñas is a non-profit organization that was founded with the main objective of promoting Puerto Rican culture, history and customs and also serving as a welcoming and orientation group to new comers in the community of Broward County.  The association has also become active in civic and charitable causes and events with groups such as Women in Distress, and Kids in Distress among others.

De Hostos Senior Center

De Hostos Senior Center is a non-profit community based organization that serves elderly and handicapped participants of Wynwood and surrounding areas. The Center’s goal is to empower seniors to achieve self-sufficiency and to mobilize resources on their behalf, their families and their community.  De Hostos Senior Center serves breakfasts, distributes food, provides education, transportation, and escort services among others.

The Open Door Health Center is a non-profit organization that serves people by providing medical care to the poor and uninsured.  The Open Door Health Center provides free primary healthcare, diagnostic and education services for adults, children and teens.
