Mayor Carlos Gimenez speaks at Chamber Business Luncheon
Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez was the guest speaker at the Business Luncheon Meeting held during the Fourth Quarter at the Doubletree Grand Hotel. The Mayor discussed issues of concern to the Small Business community, and addressed the fiscal challenges facing residents and businesses of Miami-Dade County. We were very impressed that the Mayor took time to meet and greet each of our luncheon guests individually. Many in the audience left the Luncheon with renewed optimism about the County's economic future.
Visiting from Orlando were Liza Pietri, Director of Special Projects, National Hispanic Corporate Achievers with her assistant, Orealis Martinez. They attended our Luncheon Meeting to promote the "Hispanic Achievers Plate".
